Central Florida Fair Eco-Experience

What is the Eco Experience?
The Eco Experience will be featured at the annual Central Florida Fair and was designed to engage and educate the general public on easy, cost effective steps that they can take to reduce emissions, waste, water usage, and their energy bill.  It encompasses a 10,000 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor green space featuring a model home equipped with eco-friendly appliances & products, a yard that highlights xeriscaping and rainwater irrigation, an office to encourage businesses to establish eco-friendly practices, a demonstration area to introduce visitors to eco friendly products & services, and a “green store” featuring environmentally safe products & healthy food alternatives.

Eco Experience Partner Opportunities
The Central Florida Fair would like to invite companies and organizations that share in the spirit of working towards an “eco-friendly” community, to join us in creating the Eco Experience.  Program partners will bring awareness to their “green” expertise and products through exhibits, product donations and demonstrations.  The partnership is mutually beneficial as the products and services displayed will be highlighted to our 200,000+ fair attendees as well as through marketing efforts and media coverage.

Who can become an Eco Experience Partner?
Local businesses, non-profits, government agencies and “green” organizations are welcome.  Partnerships in the following areas of expertise are needed: solar energy, building supplies/construction, transportation, geothermal energy,  “green” landscaping and soil alternatives as well as those products/services that aid in the reduction of negative environmental influences.  It is important that program partners demonstrate a strong commitment to the project and develop innovative, engaging and educational experiences for our fair audience to yield a strong impact.

We also encourage local non-profits and government agencies to aid in the success of the project by providing volunteers that will guide visitors through the eco-experience during school field trips and educational tours.  Those organizations whose objectives are consistent with the Eco Experience are welcome to apply.
